The boys say hello!

Lex is one of the last sons of our late beloved Am/Can/It/Jap/Swed. CH Misty Meadows Superman aka Dodo and we will be forever grateful to Jim & Sue Hanke for allowing him to live out his retirement from the show ring with us. Dodo’s children and further descendants have wonderfully outgoing temperaments and Lex is no exception. Even at nearly 12 he is still full of joy and utter silliness only a dog from this line can give. We are very fortunate that he has provided us with a son and daughter who have so much of that personality he passes on and very much look forward to see what they produce in the future. Lex will always be with us and perhaps will come out as a veteran here and there at speciality shows!

As the firstborn child of my heart & soul dog Mia, Bubbie holds one of the most treasured places in our hearts. He is son to GCH Dartan On Fire Again “Sparky” and is the perfect balance of traits from both of his parents. While Bubbie himself has never graced the show ring like his parents due to a tail injury as a young puppy, he has been sire and grand sire to numerous breed specialty placing dogs who share so many of his virtues. He is truly one of a kind and we are so grateful to Darwin and Tamra Delaney for kindly letting us use Sparky at stud to produce our special boy. Bubbie is still actively at stud and still producing exceptional representatives of the breed. We look forward to seeing what he gives us in the future and are hoping to achieve his Register of Merit (ROM) for Champions produced soon. Most days you can find him cuddling with his best friends at my feet while  I work or begging for goodies in the kitchen :)

Guinness is Mia’s second son sired by one of our favourite dogs of all time, MBIS/MBISS Am/Mex GCH Sonnus Filho (Sanchez) aka Sonnito. For us this was a breeding of a lifetime and in the very limited amount of litters Guinness has sired, he has had an amazing impact.
